Especially perfectionists and people in the fixed mindset love to receive instant gratification. We run around like little toddlers and want, want, want. The only thing we don’t want putting in effort and time to get what we want. A lot of us struggle with consistency especially when they don’t see instant or quick results. People get discouraged and give up or change direction.

Besides sharing my own journey when it comes to impatience and results – oh yes I’ve been there you will gain great insight in what you can do to tackle your need for instant gratification. People are often so obsessed with getting results (but then not actually taking a lot consistent action) because they want to feel good enough. They need results to prove themselves that they are worthy. Instead of looking at the journey, the experiences and the growth people in the fixed mindset need results as a measurement of worthiness.
